For almost my whole life I’ve had an insatiable intrigue for learning about how we humans function. Throughout my 7 years at Campion College, this passion and desire to learn more about the human body was nurtured and grew consistently. As a result I left high school with 1s in biology, physics and chemistry at both the csec and cape levels. Science wasn’t my only favorite however!  Math has also long been one of my all time favorite subjects. For me, there’s always a thrill solving problems that may seem unsolvable.

I’m about to enter my final year studying medicine at the University Of The West Indies. Medicine has always been my ultimate goal: where else do I get to learn this much about the body as well as being able to attempt to solve what’s wrong with each patient?

In high school, I also discovered my love for mentoring. I became that guy that my friends would look to for clarification if they didn’t entirely understand. If I was able to, I was always happy to explain, and I still am!  My love for teaching and mentoring followed me to med school, where I became an anatomy tutor.

Seeing my students come to class to learn everyday and leaving with a better understanding and more knowledge than they came with filled me with pure satisfaction and fulfillment. Being a part of GetThere has truly been surreal –  I can honestly say this is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Not only do I get to meet and create bonds with amazing people, but I also get to help them follow their passions and achieve their goals in the same way I have.
