Hi there! My name is Britney but everyone calls me Brittie.
I am currently a fourth year student pursuing the Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at the University of the West Indies.
In high school I discovered a love for Chemistry and Biology and took both subjects at the CSEC & CAPE levels. Not only did I have a passion for learning them, I loved practicing them! I achieved 1s in both subjects as well as ranked in the top 10 for both subjects in my school. I also received distinctions for Chemistry and Biology (triple A profile) at the CSEC, and CAPE 1 & CAPE 2 levels.
Lately my studies have focused more on human biology as I’ve completed Year 1 and 2 MBBS at the University of the West Indies and am currently pursuing my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
I love to share my passion for these sciences and to empower students to learn and practice with confidence. Being a GetThere tutor allows me to do just that!
My tutoring sessions consist of consistent revision, active participation, experiments and worked questions all aimed at ensuring that the student grasps the topic. My ultimate goal with tutoring is for my students appreciate and understand Chemistry as much as I do.
